HOW TO USE TEST GENERATOR*

Creating a test with all the possible questions:

1.      Start the program (Exam View Test Generator)

2.      Create a New Test by using Quick Test Wizard and Press Next

3.      Enter Name of Test and press Next

4.      Choose which book to make test from and press Open

5.      Choose which question bank you would like questions to be from and press Open

a.    If you want to choose multiple test question banks, you need to press “Up one level” after you have done Step 7a. At that point, just repeat Steps 5-7 until you have all the questions you want to have on the test

6.      Choose language and press Open

7.      Choose chapter and press Select

a.    Here, you can choose as many chapters as you want by press Select after each chapter

b.    When done choosing all the chapters you want, press Next

8.      Enter in the amount of questions you want in the “Number to Select” boxes and press Next

9.      Press Finish after viewing test summary

10.  Once the test is brought up, make sure to save a copy before doing anything

Editing the test:

1.      To delete questions you can either:

a.     Highlight the question and press Delete

b.     Highlight the section title (Matching, Multiple Choice) and press Delete

2.      To change a question or answer choice:

a.       Highlight what you would like changed and press Edit (in the lower left hand side of the screen)

b.      From here, you can change the question or answer choice

· For multiple choice/ matching questions, you can change the answer choices, answer format, and the number of answer choices

c.      When done, press Record (bottom left side)

3.      To create a new question, press New (bottom left side):

a.       Choose question type and press Okay

b.      Type in the question and answer choice

c.      Make sure to tell the computer which answer choice(s) is correct

d.      Might be able to choose number of answer choices and format

e.      When done, press Record (bottom left side)

4.      While doing anything, if you make a mistake or want to stop an action, just press Cancel (on bottom of the screen)

5.      After making changes, make sure to save the test
